JOB DETAIL

Requirements:
• Experience in application development using Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL;
• Experience in database development through PL/SQL triggers, packages, procedures, functions and other objects;
• Experience in operating system and ETL development with AIX Kornshell scripting;
• Experience implementing integrations on mobile and cloud based applications using Service Oriented Architecture – SOA;
• Experience in Object Oriented Programming and Java and related opens source technologies, other objects;
• Experience in web applications using XML, XSD, XQuery, JSON;
• Experience within an Oracle 11g environment (10-12 years, preferred);
• Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports (10g and higher), Oracle Databases (11g and higher), PL/SQL (preferred);
• Experience with Oracle Application Server and WebLogic (preferred);
• Experience with migrating from Oracle 11g to Oracle 12c (preferred);
• Experience with Unix AIX and Kornshell scripting (preferred);
• Experience with TOAD or Ultra Edit (preferred);
• Experience with Rapid Application Development and prototyping (preferred);
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively;
• Ability to work in a team environment with multiple developers, consultants and project managers;
• Ability to collaborate development efforts and work within a standards‐based environment; and
• Ability to design curriculum to train developers in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports;
• Certification in Oracle PL/SQL(preferred).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Write comprehensive test scripts for developer testing of Oracle applications;
• Handle day‐to‐day management of assigned projects and prioritize workload to ensure project deadlines are met;
• Knowledge and usage of Oracle development best practices;
• Work closely with end users in defining and documenting requirements;
• Execute all design stages from the test environment to QA and move‐to‐production of final files;
• Write software user manuals and technical documentation;
• Transfer knowledge to the team through individual mentoring and/or planned group training for Oracle Forms, Report and PL/SQL.
