To manage data and log files to ensure that they are stored separately, eliminate any instances of file or index fragmentation, and check for data corruption.

To conduct troubleshooting on databases and applications involving data validation and extensive testing to ensure that the database systems and access programs meet the end-user?s specifications and requirements. Also, to ensure that the information is intact, correct, and accessible.
Essential Skills:
Extensive familiarity with data management principles and best practices in order to properly store, migrate, and structure data for multiple applications.
Develop, design, test and implement complex database programs using Oracle and third-party tools.
Good exposure to oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages & performance tuning? Implementing the data model required by the application.
Creating schema objects and implementing rules for data integrity
Creating the application interface with the chosen development tool
Instantiating applications in different databases for development, testing, education, and deployment in a production environment
Experience with data architecture and management to develop and scale databases based on their organizations needs.
Ability to write complex & optimized queries to store, sort, and retrieve the data using complex commands that fetch and manage data across multiple tables
In-depth experience in development of PL/SQL code (database packages, procedures, functions, triggers, etc.)
Focus on coding efficiency, performance, and readability (includes refactoring/tuning of existing SQL and PL/SQL code)
Unit Testing, Root Cause Analysis for performance tuning and bug fixing.
Using analytical functions/queries for data aggregation
Data quality assurance through monitoring and alerting, analytical thinking
Creation of consistent technical design and release documents + in-code comments/change logs
Ability to translate user requirements into database/coding requirements.
