Enterprise database team is looking for an 2-3 year experienced scrum master/Project Manager to support multiple scrum teams/projects. The scrum master's responsibilities include ensuring that development teams follow scrum framework values and agile practices, mentoring and motivating the teams to improve processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminating team impediments. (Candidate must have experience working with financial client)

Scrum master should have a firm grasp of agile practices and the ability to effectively manage and mentor development teams. Ideal candidate should have experience any one of the database technologies and should be able to write SQL and create reports. Experience handling multiple projects in agile methodology is a must.

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

•          Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.

•          Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.

•          Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.

•          Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements and escalate to management in timely manner

•          Planning and organizing demos

•          Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials.

•          Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders.

Scrum Master Requirements:

•          Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred.

•          Certified scrum master, SAFe preferred.

•          2+ years of experience as a scrum master or in a similar role.

•          Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.

•          Excellent people and project management skills.

•          Strong communication and presentation skills.

•          Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•          Familiarity with Databases and should be able to write SQL’s and generate reports.

•          Jira experience – preferred 2-3 years! 

•         

2 years as a Project Manager as well as a Scrum Manager – this is a hybrid role

Must be very good at presenting

Cloud/AWS based projects – as a database team, we are helping the application team with their journey into AWS, this person is managing those developers’ projects

Managing development/scrum teams to keep them aligned with the delivers promised to the business

SQL database experience is mandatory
