- Participate in business requirement elicitation
- Work with stakeholders to identify & understand the data requirements for building the solution
- Act as a liaison between business analysts and IT team and handle and resolve all data related queries
- Understand data and perform data analysis to derive insights, test correctness and completeness of the given business requirements
- Perform data model gap analysis and ensure that business requirements do not break any constraints
- Write SQL queries to test the mapping documents (user stories) provided by the business analyst
- Understand data and perform data analysis to derive insights and test correctness of the given business requirements
- Perform user acceptance testing and test the developed solution
- Support your projects through their entire life cycle, including scoping, design, development, testing, deployment, UAT and production
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or IT or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
- Commanding knowledge and hands on experience writing advanced SQL queries.
- Excellent proficiency in working with data. Familiarity with data warehouse structures and concepts.
- Ability to quickly understand and adjust to changing business needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership.
- Excellent Data Analysis Skills. Should have knowledge about different data modelling techniques.
- Knowledge on commercial, wholesale banking and financial services.
- Knowledge on AFS and LoanIQ preferred.
