- BA/BS in Software Engineering or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in application development, software design, and architecture.
- 2+ years of experience in team management in a related field
- Understanding of database design including SQL, ANSI SQL, and PostgreSQL and web technologies.
- Proficient on C#, .NET threading and asynchronous event handling, data binding, MVC, REST API, AngularJS and jQuery
- Familiarity with the following is preferred: Python, R, User Defined Functions (UDF), PHP
- Strong understanding of elastic computing in AWS environment.
- Ability to create, debug, secure, test, and optimize code for multiple web-based applications and services.
- Ability to decompose and prioritize components of large systems.
- Ability to evaluate an existing architecture and document issues and suggested improvements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead small teams.
- Must be able to make solid decisions.
- Ability to learn new technologies related to the Web and application development.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines.
