JOB DETAIL

Development of automation frameworks across multiple technologies. 
• Maintenance of existing Selenium and Cucumber automation framework to support needs of multiple automation teams and projects including mobile automation. 
• Establish appropriate projects in Jenkins that work in conjunction with automated build and deploy jobs. 
• Development of dashboards using Elastic Search Engine (ELK) for automation results. 
• Working with various development and test teams to implement CI/CD pipelines. 
• Research and implement various automation tools or programs that facilitate validation of the different components associated with digital advertising and adobe analytics. This will involve a variety of technologies and approaches 
• Conduct code reviews for automation changes to ensure compliance to coding standards and security standards. 
• Work with operations and security team in order to monitor the TCOE infrastructure in place on Azure ( VMs & KeyVault) and assist in addressing any security vulnerabilities. 
• Mentor and coaching of other test automation team members. 

 

The TCOE automation engineer is responsible for researching, developing, and maintaining various automation frameworks used by the entire test team. This person will be responsible for researching various techniques to solve some of our most complex automation problems and working with the team to implement these solutions. This will involve developing various automation approaches to validate data across various technologies such as dealer websites, API's, various database environments, and data analytics. This position requires using various tools such as Selenium, Alteryx, Cucumber, ReadyAPI Pro, or stand-alone Java/Python programs to facilitate automation. This position will require a strong technical aptitude and the ability to research and understand new technologies and techniques quickly.

Test Automation Engineer

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Selenium automation tool. 
• 2+ years of BDD implementations using Cucumber 
• 3+ years of experience in automating API's and web services. 
• Experience with mobile automation on cloud based infrastructure. Smartbear BitBar and Cross-Browser Testing a plus but not required 
• Highly skilled in Java programming language. Ability to create custom Java programs outside of Selenium. 
• Experience in implementing CI/CD Pipelines which includes the slave/master configuration and the creation of jobs within Jenkins. 
• Experience with Eclipse or similar IDEs 
• Experience with Source Control tools such as Git 
• Experience in Alteryx preferred but not required. 
• Experience with ELK is preferred but not required. 
• Must have proven experience in implementing testing frameworks and testing harnesses. 
• Must have the ability to research new techniques and implement without any guidance.
