Requirements:

·        Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with technical and Department staff.

·        Experience in Oracle database and query performance tuning to support Java API performance.

·        Experience in Java/J2EE.

·        Experience in Java REST API and web services development.

·        Experience in Java Spring stack- Spring core, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring MVC, Spring JPA/Hibernate, and MyEclipse or Eclipse.

·        Experience using Spring Security modules and methodologies.

·        Experience in Angular, XML, HTML and CSS.

·        Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.

·        Experience using 3-tiered logical/physical architected applications.

·        Knowledge of Java MyBatis database framework.

·        Experience with Tomcat webserver setup operation and support.

·        Experience using Jenkins, Maven, ANT.

·        A bachelor's degree in one of the computer science fields or in management information systems, or four (4) years of work experience in IT, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, or program evaluation.  

 

 

Responsibilities

1.    Develop n-Tier JAVA web applications using Java/J2EE, Angular, XML, HTML, CSS and MyEclipse or Eclipse.

·        2.    Design database objects including necessary stored procedures in Oracle database and query performance tuning to support Java API performance.

·        3.    Work within a team during development of the application solutions.

·        4.    Review common requirements and build any controls that may span modules.

·        5.    Perform unit and system testing to ensure it conforms to the solution’s detailed requirement specifications.

·        6.    Update documentation as needed.

·        7.    Mentor Department staff in in Java Spring stack- Spring core, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring MVC, Spring JPA/Hibernate and Spring Security modules and methodologies.

·        8.    Provide systems architecture and design for JAVA development.

·        9.    Perform applications code development to include, but not limited to, the following:

·        )    Ensuring the system meets all requirements identified by the Department’s Contract Manager including requirements for system performance.

·        b)    Documenting business and technical requirements and submitting them for approval.

·        c)    Developing tests case and test scripts to ensure the system meets requirements.

·        d)    Ensuring testing has been conducted and completed in accordance with the SFD requirements.

·        e)    Ensuring custom software deliverables have been operating in production without any material deficiency for ten (10) days of full production with all functionality.

·        10.    Perform other related tasks assigned by the Technical Manager.
