Partners with Business Stakeholders to define user requirements for the development of Power BI Dashboards/ Reports / Data Models, Power BI Data Models, Power BI Apps and Data integrations into Power BI
Design and Develop Microsoft Power BI Dashboards, Reports, Data Models and data integrations into Power BI to fit business requirements.
Design and Develop Microsoft Power PI Apps as required to fit business requirements
Evaluates and provides necessary data security architecture implementation from the Power BI platform to the data access layer
Contributes to Data Integration Projects via the design, development and optimization of data integrations between key business system data sources, Master References data sources, ODS and Data Warehouse in support of Power BI development projects
Align data integrations, report & dashboard data with Data Governance Master reference data to meet Data Governance objectives and data quality standards.
Analyze and validate data to assist in the development of Microsoft Power BI Dashboards, Reports, Data Models and data integrations into Power BI.
Develops and maintains Power BI Configuration for scale and security
Build CI/CD pipeline process for builds and releases
Facilitates key business and technical stakeholder discussions to formulate business requirements for new or enhanced data integrations.
Evangelizes Data Driven Culture

Required Skills
Experience with designing, developing and implementing BI solutions on the Power BI Platform including Power BI Apps.
Experience in designing and developing ETL data pipelines leveraging SQL Server Integration Services, Microsoft Azure Data Factory or similar integration technology
Experience developing data integration pipelines leveraging restful API services and queuing technologies a huge plus
Experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse
Proficient in writing Advanced SQLs with expertise in performance tuning of SQL Queries
Experience in designing and building dimensional data models using a Data Warehouse Development Methodology framework such as Kimball or Inman
Database development experience with Relational or MPP/distributed systems such as SQL Server/Oracle/Spark/Hadoop preferred and Big Data architectures
Experience with Embarcadero Data Modeling tools and IBM CloudPack Data Governance tools.
Programming experience C#, Java, Python, R or Scala preferred
Experience developing restful API’s for data services is a huge plus
Strong understanding of development processes and agile methodologies
Experience with or advance courses on data science and machine learning is a plus
Strong analytical and communication skills
