Strong experience with C#, ASP.Net and the .Net Framework. VB.Net experience will also be considered
Good SQL knowledge, preferably in Oracle PL/SQL but T-SQL or ANSI SQL are acceptable
A solid background in Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Design (OOD) techniques (this is very important).
Proficiency in designing and developing complex IT systems and in assessing and evaluating alternative solutions.
Experience with full life-cycle application development from idea development, planning, and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing, and production implementation.
Object Oriented Design, C#, .Net, ASP.Net, SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 or later skills are essential.
Experience gathering, analyzing, and articulating high-level business requirement
Ability to translate business requirements into application solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate complex technical issues to all stakeholders, including those who do not have a technical background
Strong interpersonal skills. Must be influential but able work effectively in a project team.
Knowledge of the Claims and/or Reinsurance business processes a plus
