Responsibilities • Feature engineering, dimension reduction, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques • Project is focused on using the tools of data science to develop meaningful insights for the business. • Develop a data driven root cause framework. • Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis • Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner • Create business facing visualizations that help derive a deeper understanding of cost and revenue drivers. Skills and Qualifications • Excellent applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, discriminate analysis, PCA, ARIMA etc. • Good understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Decision Forests, Boosted trees, Clustering algorithms, LSTM etc. • Experience with common data science languages - R or Python and associated libraries. • Great communication skills. • Good scripting and programming skills in SQL. • Data-oriented personality • Bachelors or Masters in computer engineering or Data Sciences or Business Analytics
