JOB DETAIL

  • Tricia is project and hardware engineering manager and she manages compliance manager who is refusing to come back to California. All ground work is challenge now.
  • Compliance manager, hardware engineer, Sr. hardware engineer, Jr. hardware engineer, mechanical engineering in the team and she has 5 reports to Tricia.
  • Things are falling through the crack. Getting solution
  • Need a support person
  • Ship samples to United laboratory they need to go back correctly. If there are conflicts and if it fails. If material is not documented it leads to lot of problems. Right now there is no one watching it. Samples go through an assembly, end to end testing and QA, this needs to be logged. We have all the information ready for the units to go. Have the check points but no one to summarize this things. Working across functional departments.
  • They will go to manufacturing, when will you have units available. If not available then go to engineering. This person will oversee each step and summarize things.
  • Background this candidate NPI (New product introduction) sometimes they call this people NPI coordinator or NPI planner.
  • Higher level product which has functionality from one step to next. This has to talk to cloud and connect to network and understand what is the picture of the product.
  • They can be electrical engineer
  • NPI work was done in Fremont.

  • 5+ years’ experience

  • They should do quick study on the actual product.
  • Technical degree will be good.
  • Worked on high power products

 

Detailed JD:

  • I have just started my search for a Project Coordinator to work in Enel’s R and D lab in San Carlos, CA.
  • This is a full time, contract/temp position
  • This is NOT a remote position
  •  

Responsibilities:

  1. Guide certification samples for UL, FCC etc through manufacturing and test processes
  2. Work with cross functional groups (Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing)
  3. Must be able to lift 50 lbs- our units are heavy and bulky
  4. Coordinate prototype builds with local PCB and PCBA houses
  5. Will create part numbers in PLM system for legacy products- ARENA preferred
  6. Organize and manage engineering inventories for new product development projects
  7. Track sample shipments and incoming material for traceability
  8. Track QA inspections in spreadsheet and publish monthly so defect patterns are summarized
  9. RMA of lab equipment as needed
  10. Organize lab space- tidy up as needed

 

 

Looking for the following Talent / Experience

  1. Self starter, eager, motivated and highly organized.
  2. Good command of english language
  3. Attention to detail- has a sense of urgency
  4. Experience with PCBs and PCBAs, some work in the test and validation (nice to have)
  5. Familiar with PLMs systems – MS Office Suite (Excel)
  6. Understands BOMs, ECO’s and part creation
  7. Experience working in high power environments

 

Education

  1. Bachelor’s Degree- preferably technical
