The ideal Test & Automation Lead Engineer candidate would…

•            Believe in fault-free software that can be designed, developed, maintained, tested, qualified and deployed.

•            Believe in automation for fast and repeated verification of software, that is useful during development and deployment.

•            Have experience with software testing methodologies and automation technologies (tools and programming languages).

•            Have experience creating automation frameworks

•            Shoulder responsibility and strive to meet quality expectations and timelines.

•            Team responsibility and strive to take the team forward and own the Product quality

•            Flexible to adopt new Technologies

Some of the things you’re expected to do...

•            Understand the existing ecosystem and ongoing developments to be able to add & design a new framework or enhance the framework to support new changes in product

•            Mentor juniors on both Test and Automation

•            Planning the Test and Automation tasks for the release

•            Involving in Product/Lead/Design meetings and contribute

•            Understand failures and their impact on user experience and system stability.

•            Plan with known expectations and dependencies, particularly as the software moves from developers to production systems.

•            Design and implement with reuse, utility, and completeness in mind.

•            Follow & improve processes- with special focus on code reviews, among others.

•            Improve quality with every version, and new test & automation suites must match or exceed existing levels.

•            Contribute to a collaborative and responsive team that owns a world-class product service.

•            Through awareness question priorities and influence plans & designs.

•            Cross-team Collaboration, building Automation framework support to be used by other teams

Some of the qualifications we usually expect...

•            BTECH or MS in Computer Science or related field.

•            8+ years of experience in automating Client and Server-side

•            Handling a small team of 5 to 6 people team and mentoring them

•            Experience with automation frameworks - Selenium, Appium, Xcode, WinAppDriver  

•            Good knowledge of Java, Java

•            Good knowledge with scripts: Python, JavaScript

•            Basic knowledge with cloud systems like AWS

•            Good hands-on experience with REST API, UI Automation, API Functional Tests and Performance Tests
