JOB DETAIL

Installing Oracle, Create and maintains all databases required for development, testing and production usage.

Creating , managing tablespace space management.

Create & manage users in database.

Manage database fragmentation using reorganization

Maintain database consistency through database registry

Database backup & restore using Rman

Datapump for exporting & importing database schemas

Managing Oracle Physical, logical standby databases along with data guard broker for HA solutions

Manage Oracle Active standby databases

Troubleshoot & managing primary - standby database sync

Familiar with Standby failover & switchover

Use of Oracle utilities like - Dbverify, SQL loader, NID

Trouble shoot database issues using AWR/ADDM reports

Ability to perform both Oracle and also operating system performance monitoring and take necessary actions.

Good knowledge of Oracle security management.

Manage & monitor Oracle Real application clusters (RAC) databases

Familiar with all RAC management utilities - srvctl & crctl utilities

Create , configure database as per best practice

Setting up HA solutions like standby databases & broker configurations

Good exposure in RAC databases & troubleshooting.

Handling node evictions & reboots in RAC

Identify & troubleshoot database performance bottlenecks

Install , setup & maintain Oracle real application cluster

Install , setup & maintain Oracle active / passive cluster

Install , setup & maintain Oracle FSFO along with datagurad broker

Famliar with Logical standby setup

Propose & taking best practice initiative for database stability

Rman optimization

Database performance optimization ( Instance level & storage level)
