The candidate will be responsible for understanding the requirements, design, development, and unit testing of java technology based applications in an Agile development environment. The java based application architectures include web applications, webservices, batch applications, and database operations. Main responsibility will be in development of Java web applications. Applicant must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.   Candidate must be familiar with Agile Software Development methodologies.

Basic Qualifications         

Development skills on Java EE Technologies, JavaScript, Subversion, SonarQube, Jenkins and Nexus. Requires experience in the following areas: Eclipse, MAVEN, Wildfly (previously known as JBOSS), Apache HTTP and Tomcat, HTML5, CSS3, JSP, JSTL, JAVA Servlets, JDBC, SQL, Spring Framework 4.3 (including Spring MVC and Spring JDBC), XMLBeans, regular expressions, XML, JAVA 8, and JAVA IO processing.

Desired skills         

XML, Web Services,Apache Axis 1.4, Apache CXF, Micro services, JAX-WS, WS-Security, JAXB, Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Underscore.js, iText, POI Framework, Spring Boot, Web application integration with Web Services, and Web application design.

Typical Minimums

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 to 8 years of professional experience.
