TMS is the middleware between everything at Company – billing, vendors, stores, back office, etc.
They do not have to have core.net but that would be a nice to have
Lots of new development and orchestration along with building automation, checks and balances, etc.
Could work with invoices, receipts, agreements, dynamic billing, data questions within TMS
There are 2 thousand requests that could potentially come in that developers will work on
TMS processes 40 million transactions a month!
They work with a lot of data
8 developers on the team now ~ This team had Bas, PMs, testers, etc.
C#, .Net, JavaScript, MVC, Entity Framework, ASP.Net, SQL (a little Oracle), JQuery, Rest Web Services, APIs, Agile, Bootstrap, Knockout
Building out CI/CD pipeline – looking at Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins
Heavy backend
Everything they work on is project based
Heavy on adding new features
They are not in the cloud yet but are testing things in AWS
Needs to consume web services, not develop
