• Define and document business requirements
• Create design specifications
• Develop metadata repository using OBIEE administration tools in physical, business model and mapping, and presentation layer.
• Create new logical columns, dimensional hierarchy, calculated measures, and aggregate mappings in the BMM layer as per the business requirements.
• Design and develop various interactive dashboards and reports with drilldowns, guided navigation, filters, and prompts.
• Create various templates, reports, and prompts in BI Publisher.
• Create test plans
• Create end user training
• Provide production support

Communication, written and verbal, is imperative.  The Candidate will facilitate, document, and lead meeting discussions.  The Candidate will work with business end users, business analysts, and technical analysts mentoring, training, and supporting.  
Working onsite will be required full time.  The selected candidate will be part of a team who are also working onsite.  Open communication and feedback, mentoring, and fostering collaboration between the State’s Agency and the OBIEE Team is necessary to achieve the goals of the project and complete tasks timely.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required
• A Bachelors or Associates degree in an IT related field of study.  In lieu of degree, 4+ years of relevant OBIEE administration or development experience.
• Ten years software development experience including broad exposure to the software development lifecycle.
• In depth understanding and seven years’ experience in designing, development, and implementation of OBIEE.
• In depth understanding and one year experience in Oracle Analytics Cloud.
• In depth understanding and four years’ experience with OBIEE version 12c.
• In depth understanding and five years’ experience with installation, configuration, data migration patching, and other administration of the OBIEE platform.
• In depth understanding and five years’ experience with building reports and dashboards.
• In depth understanding and five years’ experience with SQL, JavaScript, HTML, XML, VB Script
• Must have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred
• In depth understanding and experience in the following areas:
o OBIEE security using LDAP and external database tables and configuring object level and database level security.    
o Data analysis, data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing.
o Creating sessions, workflows, mappings, mapplets using various available tools.
o Creating/writing views and joining tables.
o Oracle Designer, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Warehouse Builder
o Ability to work across multiple business and technical teams to complete required tasked.
o Training of junior developer team members
• Knowledge of project management tools including Clarity, Microsoft Project, or similar products.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio.
• Experience as an application developer working as part of a team.
