• Design automated technical solutions forcurrent manual processes (i.e. manual merging of Excel spreadsheets, MS Accessdatabases and files)

• Understand complex business processes andrelationships to determine downstream impacts to data and applications

• Identify areas for data quality improvementsand helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice oferror detection and correction, process control and improvement, or processdesign strategies.

• Lead discussions with business partners toidentify, understand, and document functional and non-functional requirementsresulting in data acquisition or integration

• Provide data consulting services toapplication teams utilizing supported data environments

• Understand the existing source system datamodels

• Create source-target mapping documents andfunctional data specifications

• Participate in and support the full projectlife cycle (initiation, planning, requirements, analysis, design, development,quality assurance, user-acceptance testing, deployment, and production support)

• Ensure quality of master data in key systems,as well as, development and documentation of processes with other functionaldata owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts anddata stewards to define and implement data strategy, policies, controls, andprograms to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, andreliable.

• Manage, analyze, and resolve data initiativeissues and manage revisions needed to best meet business requirements whileadhering to published data standards.

• Work within and across Agile teams to design,develop, test, implement, and support data analytics integration solutions.

• Document and support deployment activities.

Report on status of IT Data Operations productsand projects on a regular and timely basis.

Specialized Skills (required)

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis, dataprofiling, data extraction, and data mining

• Expert understanding in the design, creation,management, and business use of large datasets

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge ofrelational & multi-dimensional databases, with emphasis on data warehousing

• Expert knowledge of structured query language(SQL) coding and execution

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of ETL conceptsand processes

• Exposure to advanced analytics concepts suchas predictive models and / or machine learning

• Experience designing and developing datacleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions involvingstandardization, transformation, rationalization, and linking

• Ability to translate business requirements fordata integration needs into artifacts (stories) that can be handed to technicaldevelopment resources for execution

Strong proficiency in using MS Excel, includingformulas and pivot functions.

Specialized Skills

• AWS Cloud platform : S3, Glue, Redshift,Kinesis / Firehose

• Working knowledge of data governancepractices, policies and procedures

• Experience implementing data integrity anddata quality processes

• Intermediate understanding of statisticalmethodologies and techniques utilized for analyzing large datasets

• Experience with one or more businessintelligence tools such as Business Objects, Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI

• Experience working with an ETL solution suchas Informatica Power Center (or equivalent).

• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databasemanagement systems

• Working knowledge of Linux O/S scripting
