We need Triage Engineer on Embedded product. Check if the Android Application Engineer has any experience of Developing/Debugging application in any Product/Devices or worked in product company (Automotive/ CE Projects / Chip Vendor company). That will be a good fit.
Avoid only Finance application developers & Web Application Developers (HTTP/JSON/RestFul API/PHP/etc..).. They would have worked on the UI & Calculations. They will not have OS capability development/debugging.
Coding Experience: Core Java development
Development Experience: Android Application Development (APK) with device product background.
