Splunk Engineer

Ability to create system documentation for ongoing system management;
Systems automation and curl;
Troubleshooting, debugging, and diagnostic skills in a complex IT environment;
Experience with Splunk product installation, integration & support;
Working knowledge of web security best practices;
Ability to perform complete Splunk environment installs, filter data, and manage indexes;
Advanced knowledge and experience with Splunk architecture;
Self-motivated and self-educating, yet willing and able to work collaboratively with both customers and fellow team members;
Experience creating, and maintaining Splunk applications;
Experience with SDLC lifecycles and tooling is a plus;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Requires at least four years of recent experience in an operations production support role;
Ability to manage multiple work streams without missing key deadlines;
Should be comfortable working in Linux/Unix environment as well as Windows;
Excellent team building and leadership skills.
