Contributing to the support and maintenance of the Nevada Tax Center to help implement SB 389;
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices;
Test units of work related to the support and maintenance SB 389;
Assist with other IT projects as necessary to free up agency application developer staff for SB 389 programming;
Document questions and discoveries found during evaluation.
Create, modify, and track all required documentation for SB 389.
Create necessary technical design documents.
Six (6) to Eight (8) Years of professional experience using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF and Web Services to develop web-based software solutions;
Strong in Object Oriented Programming, MVC, Design patterns and SOLID principles;
Experience with Web services development (SOAP, REST);
Strong documentation and written communication skills;
Familiarity with Relational Databases and SQL;
Implement, test, and bug-fix functionality;
Ability to work with business and technical staff in a team environment and independently;
Ability to complete quality work under set schedules and timelines;
Familiarity with IT standard documentation and best practices;
