JOB DETAIL

•        Speaks andunderstands the language of our Business when communicating with the ProductOwners and Business Users, and the technical language of our Agile Teams whencommunicating with Developers and Testers.

•        Collaborateswith the Product Owner in order to gain a clear understanding of all businessprocesses, procedures, goals, and objectives.

•        Attends and isan active participant in requirements meetings held by the Business in order tofurther understand Business priorities.

•        Analyzesproposed changes and identify gaps in requirements.  This may includechanges to current processes, applications, file layouts, and web services.

•        Works inpartnership with the Product Owner to write clear and concise Agile userstories. Breaks down larger user stories into multiple, smaller, user storiesaccording to departmental standards.

•        Assists the ProductOwner to record priority order to ensure it is done frequently, completely, andin a timely manner.

•        Attends andengages in daily standup meetings along with other agile team ceremonies.

•        Followsdepartmental testing processes to create and document test cases, execute thetest cases for the assigned stories, verify and report the results.

•        May extract testdata from databases by creating new, or altering existing, basic SQLqueries.   The data will be used for testing and verification ofresults.

•        Expected toswarm user stories in order to help the team meet their commitments for thesprint.

•        Assists theProduct Owner and Scrum Master to prepare for Team Sprint Reviews and SystemDemos.

•        Constantly looksfor ways to improve processes and discuss issues, all in order to deliverbetter value to the customer.

•        Perform otherrelated assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary JobResponsibilities as described above.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

•        Positionrequires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, businessadministration, or a related field and three years of experience identifying,organizing, analyzing, testing, communicating, and documenting business rules,system requirements, and process workflows.

•        Experiencewriting technical documentation preferred.

•        Will accept anysuitable combination of education, training, or experience.

•        Experience withthe Agile methodology (Scrum or SAFe is preferred) and tools used to create andtrack Agile user stories (VersionOne is preferred).  Experience creating,altering, and running SQL queries. 

•        Basic workingknowledge of web services (REST or SOAP).

•        Experience withLean Six Sigma and Yellow Belt training. 

•        Ability toreview software changes and determine system impact. 

•        Experience withincident/support ticketing systems and process workflow. 

•        Ability toanalyze and resolve problems.  

•        The ability tobe flexible in a fast paced and active work environment.

•        Goodcommunication skills in order to effectively interact with internal andexternal customers.
