Full grasp of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, unit testing, system testing, problem resolution, project planning and release management.
Education and Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience developing iOS apps using Swift and/or Objective-C supported by RESTful web services.
- Verifiable experience as a domain specialist using Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, UIKit, and XCode in an enterprise environment, preferably as part of a team of iOS engineers.
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Native iOS applications in a fast-paced Scrum environment.
- Experience working with Git/Jira/Jenkins stack.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong analytical and design skills and excellent problem solving/debugging ability.
- Solid understanding of iOS Design Patterns, n-tiered architectures, and Test-Driven Development.
- Strong understanding of Git, Jira, Jenkins stack, modern development principles such as trunk-based development and feature toggles.
- Excellent understanding of testing concepts and frameworks.
- Experience integrating third-party libraries into native iOS apps.
- Ability to collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team.
- Participate in iteration planning to maintain velocity and deliver quality pieces of functionality in each sprint.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for status reports, project plans and summaries.
