The Business/Data Analyst (BA) will act as a business liaison between the application owners, users, and the Financial data mart Development team to proactively identify, develop, and drive short-term and long-term application strategies. The BA will be responsible for managing and supporting expectations of the business STAKEHOLDERS and will also serve as a technical expert and work closely with business users and the Project Manager to analyze complex business problems, interpret, and translate business rules and requirements to be solved with new or current automated systems. The BA will assist and participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), clearly defining and documenting system update recommendations and requirements in accordance with applicable standards, related methodology procedures, and adhering to system security requirements .As part of the Agile project methodology, BA would help drafting the user stories based on the functional requirements and finalize with the business team
Responsibilities:
•    Assist in the development of system requirements for application systems
•    Meet with users to define information requirements and rules governing it
•    Complete detailed data and reporting requirements
•    Assist developers in data mapping and in creating data models
•    Conduct System QA processes
•    Compile all system and technical documentation
•    Write requirements and test plans
•    Create detailed use cases
•    Support development of end-user training materials and end-user documentation
•    Prepare and deliver presentations for training and as required by Project Manager
•    Provide operations support
•    Participate in product deployment
•    Participate throughout the project life cycle, from planning to implementation, with emphasis on business requirements from the business community in the development and roll-out of multiple builds of the applications
•    Resolve any False Positive, False Negative, Overlay, or any custom task created in the Inspector tool
•    Facilitate interview and group sessions to obtain business requirements
•    Gather detailed business and technical requirements and participate in the definitions of business rules and data standards. Prepare gap analysis deliverables, process flow diagrams as needed
•    Participate in business systems planning for integrated analytic needs. Participate in defining approaches and priorities for satisfying needs
•    Perform research and create deliverables as required by Program Manager
