JOB DETAIL

. Roles & Responsibilities : Involve in creating and managing tables indexes db links and privileges. Coordinate with DBA in creating and managing tables indexes table spaces auditing and data quality checks. Used subversion tools SVN version management to manage various versions of the procedures and functions of the application. Coordinate with the team of java developers to accomplish complex financial calculations. Schedule jobs to automate different database relate activities including backup monitoring database health disk space backup verification. Work on the oracle SQL queries and PL/SQL objects like functions procedures packages triggers views cursors. Implement procedures to install and deploy large numbers of Linux / Unix servers. Create database tables create various db queries and assist in data mapping/testing activities in support of project. Modify and develop new scripts in LINUX to provide the same functionality as that are provided in UNIX. Develop Perl and shell scripts for parsing the incoming files data and loading them into the database. Develop and optimize database structures store procedures dynamic management views DDL triggers and user define functions. Develop complex PL/SQL packages procedures functions for the application according to business requirements in UNIX and windows environments. Modify maintain and develop PL/SQL codes for new customer requirements which involve cursors functions procedures triggers and collections. Develop load processes and data warehouse integration ETL procedures. Perform data modeling and create/maintain and modify complex database triggers and data migration scripts. Create Informatica mappings which include data explosion to incorporate critical business functionality to load data. Migrate legacy Java code for computing satellite pointing angles into PL/SQL to improve satellite installer efficiency. Script queries for the drill-down reports. Develop UNIX scripts for transmitting files from the secure server to the customer specify server using various FTP batch processes. Develop SQL statements to improve back-end communications. Prepare maintained and modify SQL server installation and configuration documents. Develop and optimize a framework for extensible automate production support in PL/SQL. Analyze of customer specifications and custom design of applications successfully and implementing designs in new/existing application using PL/SQL. Work on database application development query optimization performance tuning in complete system development life cycle. Involve in optimizing database performance by analyzing database objects generating statistics creating indexes and materialize views etc. Used JIRA for the requirement tracking planning and building. Compare the test results in 11i and R12 such that there are no discrepancy after retrofitting the objects. Add row sum and column sum to tables by grouping and then sort the data. Write TSQL/SQL for multiple RDBMS such as Teradata and MSSQL systems base on requirements provide by companys analysts. Provide utilities to extract and migrate client data from text and DBF files to production databases
