As a Middleware Engineer for Middleware you’ll be responsible for engineering, configuration and other administration of IBM DataPower Gateway along with IBM WebSphere application Server. He/she should have experience in creating digital solutions for applications with the skills to integrate with very complex back-end systems both on-premise or in the cloud. He/she must possess good communication skills and should be able to work in a collaborative environment with ease. 

Experience 

• Must have overall experience of 10+ years of which at least 5-6 years of experience in IBM API Connect and DataPower. 
• Experience in design, development and implementation of services using XML Technologies (XSLT, XPath) and IBM DataPower Gateway. 
• Experience with SOAP and/or REST-based Web services with emphasis on Security, including familiarity of SSL/TLS, Digital Signatures, WS-Security and federated security 
• Experience architecting APIs and API management systems 
• Experience implementing API security (API encryption / authentication / JWT / OAuth / SAML / API authentication / application authentication and authorization / DataPower AAA features / LDAP) 
• Experience deploying, architecting and managing services in public / private / hybrid clouds (IBM BlueMix / AWS) 
• Experience deploying systems using containers (Docker / Kubernetes‎) 
• Experience configuring DataPower IDG physical and virtual appliances in integration and security roles 
• Experience architecting and deploying DataPower gateways in multiple network zones (DMZ/cloud) 
• Security / cryptography development experience (crypto and signature algorithms / access management / identity federation) 
• Experience implementing /exposing microservices, web services and APIs DataPower development experience (XSLT and GatewayScript) 
• Expertise in monitoring, tuning, upgrading, maintaining and troubleshooting DataPower appliances 
• Configure Web service proxy for SOAP & REST based web services using DataPower 
• Understanding and experience in security configuration such as AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Auditing), SSL/TLS. 
• Experience in the deployment of XSLT, XSDs and WSDLs 
• Strong experience in various DataPower services such as Web Service Proxy (WSP), Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPG) etc. 
• Expertise in OpenID Connect (OIDC) as an authentication layer that runs on top of an OAuth 2.0 
• Understanding of SOA and web services and their deployment in DataPower 

• 10+ years of IT experience required 
• 5-6 years of IBM DataPower required 
• 4+ years of IBM MQ, IIB preferred 

• 1+ years of DataPower operations dashboard preferred 
• 1+ years of working knowledge of AWS (EC2, ALB)
