Strategic Advisors Technology (SAT) are building out a new platform as part of the evolution of Fidelity’s Managed Accounts offering. We are seeking an individual with a solid background in performance testing and knowledge of multiple application infrastructures who continually strives to advance engineering perfection. You will work in a squad responsible for both supporting the existing production platform and looking ahead to the new platform. The role involves developing and executing test strategies, coordinating in depth interviews of architects and development leads to assure the capacity and stability of the applications meets requirements for production deployment, assisting the team in defining SLAs for various functional components in the platform, communicating performance testing results, and identifying areas for improvement.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Excellent analytical skills and extensive troubleshooting experience of performance throughput issues.
Experience working with a large-scale engineering team defining and developing performance test strategies and regression models.
Deep knowledge of middleware Java stack, Oracle, messaging technologies and web containers
Detailed understanding of distributed systems, Internet principles and statistical data analysis.
Ability to identify application bottlenecks and assist engineers with improving application performance and reducing latency.
Extensive experience with Dynatrace or similar, Datadog & Splunk.
Experience in defining fundamental design principles for building a scalable application on cloud infrastructure like AWS.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
