- 10+ years of strong development experience in Informatica (ETL)
- Experience in Informatica PowerCenter, BDM, Python, SQL, Hive, Impala
- Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL databases
- Experience on both on-prem / Azure cloud platform
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create Informatica mappings with PL/SQL store procedures/functions to incorporate critical business functionality to load data.
- Used connected, unconnect lookup, static and dynamic cache to implement business logic and improve the performance.
- Develop procedures and functions using PL/SQL and develop critical reports.
- Develop PL/SQL functions/procedures/cursors/packages/database triggers to implement business logic.
- Work with relational databases like DB2.
- Detail table design and index selection in for Teradata databases using SQL.
- Develop mappings with XML as target and formatting the target data according to the requirement.
- Work with logical, physical, conceptual, star, snowflake schema data models.
- Extract data from flat files, DB2 and to load the data into the Salesforce database.
- Create and used debugger sessions to debug sessions and create breakpoints for better analysis of mappings.
- Work with various data sources--relational, flat file (fix width, delimitate) and XML.
- Involve in all phases of SDLC from requirements gathering, architecture design, development, testing, and data migration.
- Involve in writing PERL scripts for file transfers, file renaming and few other database scripts to be execute from UNIX.
- Create various active and passive transformations to support voluminous loading of data target table using Informatica PowerCenter
- Provide documented operation and user procedures, when require, and perform supporting training for respective users.
- Involve in working with the strong AIX operating systems.
- Plan and perform hardware upgrade and migration of AIX, application software and data.
- Have made use of ODBC stage to append, insert, update, delete data.
- Work on ODBC, to extract data from the tables which are from core tables and materialize view tables.
- Document required technical metadata such as source and target definitions.
- Take transition from onsite coordinator and share it with offshore Subordinates/Junior resources.
- Used Metadata manager for validating, promoting, importing and exporting repositories from development environment to testing environment.
- Develop GUI using HTML and Javascript to classify pubm documents base on learning from the training data.
- Produce detailed MDM design specifications consistent with the high-level MDM design specifications.
