JOB DETAIL

·       Participates as the subject matter expert in the project discovery process, preparation of the business scoping document and project estimation.

·       Leads the requirement gathering workshops with the business stakeholders

·       Acts as the expert on JIRA workflow and processes.

·       Engages with the business stakeholders to clearly define functional requirements and acceptance criteria and receives timely approval

·       Engages with the technical architects to define the technical requirements

·       Collaborates with the technical team to ensure that development meets the functional and technical requirements.

·       Demo project progress to the business stakeholders periodically and obtains feedback

·       Create test plans and test cases for projects

·       Participates in systems acceptance testing as required

·       Assesses organizational and operational changes necessary to effectively implement new systems and system enhancements.  

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems or related field and around 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting integrated business information applications systems.

Technical/Other Skills Required

·       Experience working with third party vendors

·       Must be familiar with information technology concepts and applications.

·       Experience is creating flowcharts and BPMN diagrams

·       Extensive knowledge of tools such as Confluence, Excel, Jira, Visio, etc. 

·       Must have developed business requirements, functional models and technical documentation at a conceptual level for simple to medium complexity business functions.

·       Must demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Ability to think creatively and consider alternative approaches when necessary.

·       Ability to work in a multi-functional project team

·       Ability to follow client’s established standards and methodologies in requirements gathering and documentation
