Primary Skills - RedHat Linux, VMware, Patching

•             Perform day to day support to GBU, issues raised by customer on mail, communicator.

•             Hands on experience on RedHat Linux Server (RHEL 6/7/8) Administration.

•             Working on Nagios tool and provide support on Nagios environment

•             LVM disk management (filesystems, lvols, volume groups)

•             NFS filesystem concepts

•             Patching lifecycle understanding & patching experience, providing end to end support to patching activity.

•             EOL upgrade understanding

•             VMWare Administration experience including cloning, disk expansion, basic troubleshooting, virtual appliances

•             Experience on guest OS installation, setting up of VM priorities, Cloning, Snapshots, restoring of VMS from snapshots etc on VMware environment.

•             Experience with clustering (Redhat cluster), provide support during patching activity as well.

•             Troubleshooting skills both with hardware and software in Linux environment

•             Knowledge on RAID Configurations

•             Backup and restore concepts, troubleshoot if any issues arise during backup failure.

•             ITIL concepts - Knowledge of change management process and experience planning and executing scheduled changes
