JOB DETAIL

The Java Technology Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and troubleshooting high performance mission critical applications to meet the company’s strategic objectives. The candidate will have in-depth knowledge of technologies involved and SDLC models (Waterfall and / or Agile).

 

 

Basic Skills & Qualifications (the skills which are absolutely required to be successful in this role; should be a maximum of 4):

  • 5+ years of experience Design and develop using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability.
  • Have working knowledge on Amazon Web Services like EC2, VPC, S3, CloudFormation, IAM, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Glue, cloud watch, code commit, code build, Triggers, API gateway, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balance.
  • Have experience in writing API’s using core Java , J2EE, Python, JavaScript, JSON, XML, REST Web services.
  • Have working experience/Knowledge on JSON collection objects from NoSQL database and write queries to fetch the data, insert and update the data from the NoSQL database like Marklogic.
  • Have experience in NoSQL databases and writing queries preferably using Java Script.
  • Have knowledge on Github for the version control.
  • Have good Knowledge in Ingest data from NoSQL data base and transform into other NoSQL data base like Marklogic.
  • Have knowledge on Apache Kafka.
  • Have knowledge to choose the appropriate AWS service based on compute, data and requirements.
  • Have knowledge in Integration of Amazon Web Services AWS with other applications infrastructure.
  • Have experience in developing application using Test Driven Development and Unit testing process.
  • Knowledge in logging facility using Log4j and Writing JUnit test cases.
  • Knowledge in using Jenkins for Continuous Integration and code quality tools.
  • Have knowledge in Thread dumps, Heap dumps, Memory Leaks, Connection Leaks, Refactoring.
  • Knowledge in Maven, Gradle tool to build and package, deploy application and integrated with Jenkins in AWS.
  • Have good knowledge in SCRUM process of Agile (Iterative) development methodology.

 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (the “nice to have skills” that would be a bonus should the candidate possess them; should be a maximum of 3):

 

  • Experience working with State of Federal agencies
  • Agile/Scrum experience a must
  • 1+ Years of experience working with Healthcare Payer systems
