- Primary Skill Ab Initio Secondary Skill Spark Sr Data Engineer Java / Spark
- Minimum 3-5 years in Java
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Hadoop stack of tools
- Minimum 2 years of programing experience in Apache Spark PySpark
- Should have experience in at least one code conversion projects from one ETL tool to other
- Proficiency in Unix shell scripting
- Proficiency in Teradata database and tools
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries
- Demonstrated experience in one of the industry standard scheduling tools Control M Autosys etc
- Attention to detail and ability to follow through on often complex tasks involving multiple team members
- Highly organized and self directed
- Experience working with a geographically dispersed team
- Strong verbal written and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively across organizational lines and with virtual team members
