- Experience in automating setting up Production and Non-Production environments in different data centers using Chef, Habitat.
- Experience designing and implementing efficient CI/CD flows to get code from dev to prod with high quality and no manual intervention.
- Experience in automating builds using Maven.
- Experience setting up and administering Jenkins pipelines.
- Use Jenkins to orchestrate builds as well as link to Sonar, Chef, Maven, Artifactory etc to build out CI/CD pipeline.
- Design, implement and enhance lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
- Work with developers to create validation scripts and perform testing and monitoring.
- Strong Linux and shell scripting experience.
- Advanced branching strategies experience is desirable
- Strong Linux and shell scripting
- Oracle knowledge
- Splunk
- Good communication skills. Comfortable working with customers to understand their requirements (whiteboard as needed) and build a rollout solution.
- Ability to work with DevOps Team and Developers to streamline processes, improve automation and explain design decisions.
- Knowledge of DevOps Automation best practices and how to implement them.
- Experience in dealing with difficult situations and making decision with a sense of urgency.
