• Hands-on development experience (specifically Oracle PL/SQL development) is critical to this role and will constitute a majority of the responsibility. In addition, architecture and solution experience (ability to see the big picture and look to the future) will be a plus.

• Independently lead project components, coordinate work with other teams and provide guidelines/directions.

• Act as an expert technical resource to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.

• Work with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.

 • Works closely with Corporate Premier to analyze, design, develop, and implement changes to Accounting Engine preprocessing and reporting logic.

 • Create detailed design documentation using UML, write application code and implement new functionality PL/SQL.

 • Act as an internal consultant within technology by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies.

• Contribute technical direction for the technology team responsible for development of and maintaining coding/development standards.

 • Work with Infrastructure Engineers and System Administrators as appropriate in designing the big-data infrastructure.
