- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations.
- Determines user needs and requirements and recommends ways to improve systems
- Serves as primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff
- Identifies, documents, reports and tracks system issues. Supports the process of translating business needs into formal technical requirement deliverables
Requirements for Business Analyst positions:
- 7+ years of experience as Business Analyst
- 70/30 Ops and customer experience focused/ technical
- Facilitating sessions with stakeholders
- Writing functional requirement documents
- Word, Excel, Visio, ticketing tools like JIRA/Chalk
- Experience with Rules Engines or Telecom a plus
