- 6+ years overall Data Engineering Experience
- Strong Data Modeler experience
- Strong Datawarehouse design and build experience
- Strong Data Mart design and build experience
- ETL experience using shell/python scripting (not looking for building pipelines experience)
- Systems Experience with
- Big data platforms (Teradata, Cloudera)
- MUST: SQL Server
- NICE: Snowflake, Spark or Hive (bot the pipeline experience)
nice to have :
- Exposure to Tableau or Power BI
- Experience working in latest AWS tool stack and/or Azure tool stack (native)
Soft Skill MUST HAVES
- Ability to go from whiteboard discussion to code
- Problem solver / analyze the data and ask questions
- Success in a highly dynamic technology demand driven environment with ability to shift priorities with agility
- Willingness to explore and implement new ideas and technologies
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
