 Experience with ETL processes, data cleansing and validation on large datasets
• 3-5 to years of hands on experience as a demand planner/data analyst in retail or CPG domain. Experience in associated areas like inventory planning, merchandising planning
• Good understanding of drivers of demand by business domains
• Advanced/intermediate experience in any of these querying languages like SQL, HIVEQL
• Proficient in BI, Reporting and Data Visualization tools like Domo, MicroStrategy etc.
• Excellent stakeholder's communication - written, verbal and telephonic
• Strong communication and influencing skills, ability to work with cross-geography teams
• Ability to do quick analysis and summarize results on MS Excel, PowerPoint
• Able to work independently without a lot of supervision. Given a problem and a set of available tools, ability to figure out the course of work themselves
Good To Have:
• Hands on experience in either one of the analytical platforms- R (Packages) or Python packages
• Experience of working with in-house or 3rd party demand planning applications like I2 demand planner, Kinaxis, Logility etc.
• Experience in Oozie, Hive, HBase, Unix, Jenkins, Shell Scripting
• Hands on experience in statistical testing and measurement, forecasting validations
• Experience in QA/Testing and testing automation frameworks
• Experience of working in an agile (scrum) product development model
• Certified APICS supply-chain and demand planning professional
