1. Creates and maintains optimal data pipeline architecture on Azure platform. Ensures that system designs adhere to solution architecture design and are traceable to functional as well as non-functional requirements.

2. Leverages Azure Data Factory and Databricks to assemble large, complex data sets that meet end user and business requirements.

Designs new solutions and services to improve overall user experience.

3. Identifies, designs, and implements internal process improvements such as automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.

Defines system design standards to improve and sustain standardization.

4. Builds the infrastructure required for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from a wide variety of data sources.

Establishes standardized design and development processes to enable cost effective delivery.

5. Designs relational and non-relational data stores on Azure.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

 •    Advanced proficiency in Azure SQL Database/Data Warehouse tools

•     Advanced knowledge of SQL

•    Strong experience in Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) development, preferably using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

•    Knowledgeable in multiple reporting toolsets, preferably PowerBI

•     Experience in common SDLC practices and source control systems/processes.
