This position is for a Project Manager to support the runbook/playbook work stream within the cyber recovery workstream of IDR. The cyber recovery workstream’s mission is to maximize our ability to continue essential business services if faced with a catastrophic data loss event affecting Vanguard’s on premises and cloud –hosted data assets globally.

SKILLS:

Strong project management skills utilizing Agile and waterfall methodologies.

Experience Leading midsized projects or supporting large scale programs.

Leadership skills to ensure that deliverables meet program outcomes.

General IT infrastructure knowledge to support creating , integrating and managing a plan to deliver across many technical domains working with specialists in each.

Experience with process development and process improvement(eg SIX SIGMA, LEAN)

Responsibilities Include:

Decomposiing timelines into milestones and highlighting workstream interdependencies, Tracking deliverables , identifying risks and removing team impediments.

Providing status on deliverables and discussing critical path of activities at program review .
