o   Configure / troubleshoot a NIC bond. Which NICs are in a particular bond? Which is primary and which secondary in the bond.. etc.

o   Configure NICs (enable / disable / configure IPs) and check the status of them.

o   Check the routing table on a host

o   Configure source-based routing

·         RAID

o   Can describe the difference between different RAID levels with pros / cons of each and can configure it

·         User Administration

o   Add / Remove new users

o   Configure SSH keys

·         Baremetal systems experience

o   Has experience working with baremetal systems and hardware configurations (we work a lot w HP and Dell)

·         Understands and can troubleshoot memory issues (RAM vs Swap space.. buffers / cache vs available memory)

·         Can identify problematic processes and isolate the path and user running them

o   What commands to run to troubleshoot. What do you look for in the output to isolate issues, etc..

·         Understands and can troubleshoot NFS issues

·         Understands Linux filesystems

o   Common issues and how to troubleshoot them? What is an inode etc..

o   What commands to run to view status and troubleshoot issues.

·         Proficient in Ansible

·         Can write scripts (bash, Ruby for Chef cookbooks, or Ansible playbooks)
