Java developer responsibilities include designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Collaborates with others and provides significant contributions to develop specifications to resolve business client questions, problems, and to address enhancement and development needs.
• Uses technical knowledge, creativity and company practices and priorities to obtain solutions to complex problems.
• Interfaces with Tech Delivery Lead, scrum master, & architecture to provide and obtain information and to build consensus regarding project direction
• Completes required technology deliverables, including testing, as identified by Tech Delivery Lead
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
• Proactive in monitoring and providing support for the delivered components in Production environment
• REST service standards and design
