Technical Skills and Requirements
- 8+ years work experience in IT Development and/or Operations
- 3+ years work experience in Kubernetes and its ecosystem including lifecycle management and security
- Proficiency with Cloud Kubernetes offerings like AWS EKS
- Proficiency in a programming language
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines. devops best practices and tooling
- Experience in monitoring, logging platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
- Understanding of Tracing and Observability with tools like Jaeger, zipkin and Opentelemetry
- Deep Understanding of service mesh and volume management

Job Description:
- Lead EKS/ Kubernetes operations including build, upgrade and administration
- Technical leader and Highest level of escalation (on call) for all kubernetes matters/issues
- Lead kubernetes adoption among development and operations teams
- Mentor team of engineers for best practices
- Drive process improvements, build SOPs and documentation
- Foster collaboration with architecture, security and development teams on future roadmap
