Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models for various data stores like RDMS, ODS, marts, lakes, warehouses, lakehouses and multi-model stores for SQL/NoSQL platforms.
Define, implement and oversee governance of expansion and transformation of existing data architectures to accelerate solution needs for consolidated and exclusive needs.
Champion best practices and management structures for the whole data path end-to-end.
Be independent and hands-on in modeling, designing, configuring, installing, performance tuning exercises.
Work proactively to address enterprise and project level requirements to articulate priority, strategy and risks in delivery plans.
Perform ad hoc analysis and discovery needed to be able to guide various teams on how to implement facets of the solutions.
Define standards, tools, best practices and methodologies for enterprise data delivery.
Attention to detail with logical thinking and problem-solving skills to accomplish mission critical tasks for enterprise data implementations with necessary considerations for security, flexibility, performance, scalability, etc.
Must have:
Bachelor’s degree in computer/data science or related job roles.
Minimum 2+ years of experience with Azure data platform including Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Data Warehouse (Synapse Analytics), Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, etc.
Strong Object/relational mapping experience with UML modeling and OO modeling.
Demonstrated experience of estimation and planning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum 5 years of experience with T-SQL, Power BI and Azure Analysis Services
Experience working with Healthcare data and proven track of implementation experience in EDI data formats.
Minimum 6 years in job roles involving metadata management, relational/dimensional modeling and big data solution approaches with native Azure Data Platform tools or 1st party services.
Excellent communication, presentation skills with the right attitude towards problem solving in diverse teams.
Strong aptitude and technical skills with conceptual strength in logical solutions driven towards balanced optimal considerations.
Solid knowledge in SQL, security standards, BI tools, ETL tools and Microsoft/Azure specific technologies.
Nice to have:
Certifications in Azure, data modeling and metadata management.
Consulting experience in a variety of other business domains.
Ability to use BI tools like Power BI to represent insights and other presentation techniques.
