Client is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our collaborative team at a foremost healthcare technology organization in Oakland, California.
The selected Consultant must be in California to start the engagement as an onsite orientation is required.
The Development Team provides Video based remote medical interpreters to patient population to provide best-in-class care delivery along with phone interpreters and in-person interpreters. The Video Remote Interpreter solution enabled on iPad/ PC/iPhone modalities as a dedicated patient care solution on mobile carts, to be integrated with Telehealth solutions. The “Service Management Product” platform is a solution and service management platform that enables integration for mobile and non-mobile Telehealth platforms to enable, manage the service through its lifecycle. Developed based on Microservices in a Docker environment ready to scale to different business needs.
Position Description:
- Create technical documentation including validation plan, test scripts, test cases and product validation plans
- Work with Product Owners, Technical Architects/developers to test the solution(s) ensure optimal code coverage.
- Ensure that validation plans test all the requirements (Functional and Non- Functional).
- Execute test cases for integration, performance and stress testing and system upgrades.
- Validate the solutions prior to deployment and after deployments.
- Triage issues and help to determine root cause of the issues.
- Work with test data and perform data analysis.
Required Skills:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- 7-10 years as a QA Engineer Analyst in a mid-large size enterprise/corporation.
- Experience with Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Case creation, execution in agile environment.
- Hands-on automation solution development using Selenium, Cucumber, LoadRunner, Puppeteer or similar solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document test plans, scripts and test cases, support knowledge base updated.
- 3+ years working with Agile, Scrum processes and experience in documenting use cases and test cases.
- Experience with incident management and tools like Service Now, JIRA, GIT.
- Excellent analytical skills to ensure root causes are identified for issues.
- Ensure requirements traceability is maintained in the validation test scripts and results.
- Proficiency in SQL to access relational DB.
- Experience with test data prep for SQL/NoSQL databases.
- QA of “responsive” web apps.
- Validation of APIs using Postman for API validations.
- Applications and solutions performance validations.
- Skills with scripting languages, HTML, website development and collaboration tools such as Teams, Slack, SharePoint are required.
- Programming/scripting skills in any scripting tools (Python, JavaScript).
- Expertise in testing a CI/CD Microservices-based environment is required.
- Mobile (IOS/Android) app validation and QA experience is required.
