PLEASE NOTE THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR THIS CLIENT!!!!

•             Candidate is ideally located in Illinois or Wisconsin as they will be required to pick up their equipment ON-SITE – this is non-negotiable the client WILL NOT send out equipment, the candidate MUST be able to come on-site to pick up equipment.

•             The candidate also MUST be vaccinated for COVID-19 and okay with getting a flu shot in the fall.

 

 

 

 

Experience: testing websites, testing mobile apps, testing applications, creation of test plans, writing/Reviewing acceptance criteria for user stories

Major Responsibilities   Leads test efforts for concurrent projects throughout various project phases, including developing test approaches/strategies and working within the appropriate development methodology and project constraints, reviewing requirements/design for testability, developing test plan and scenarios, and writing test scripts.

Collaborates with eBusiness leaders to create and maintain up to date quality assurance standards to be enforced during the quality assurance process of software development.

Executes test plans, including running test scripts, exploratory testing, logging and managing defects, and reporting results.

Serves as the owner of the quality assurance practice of the eBusiness team. Oversees the development and ongoing improvement of Quality Assurance (QA) processes and methodologies.

Ensures the delivery of quality products for each project assigned.

Mentors technical and non-technical colleagues on QA processes.

Oversees quality assurance efforts with project teams to ensure appropriate test coverage and resolve QA issues in a timely manner.

Evaluates and recommends use of new and current QA tools including issue tracking software and automated testing tools as required.

Collaborates with internal teams to plan and budget projects.

Identifies test lab software and hardware requirements to support testing projects, including current browsers and operating systems and works with supervisor to ensure maintenance of test lab to meet project needs.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required      None Required.

Education Required        Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.

Experience Required      2-3 years of experience in digital marketing and quality assurance methodologies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required                Advanced knowledge of CMS development, quality assurance processes, Agile software development methodologies, and Accessibility Compliance (508 and WCAG 2.0).

 

Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, defect management tools, and Diff/Merge tools.

 

 

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

 

Ability to establish QA process to be followed by others and provide and receive constructive feedback. Leads QA efforts with minimal supervision and mentors others.

 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate/collaborate effectively with all levels of employees, management, and external organizations.

 

Ability to inspire excellence in others and constantly strive to improve.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions     Position may require travel which may result in exposure to road and weather hazards.
