2. Responsible for orchestrating upgrades, backups, and provisioning of database instances

1.5 to 6 years of experience as MySQL Database administrator

2. Responsible for orchestrating upgrades, backups, and provisioning of database instances

3. Perform technical troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate and correct data and database issues

4. Identify opportunities for improved performance in SQL operations and implementations.

5. Hands-on experience on Installation and configuration of MySQL

6. Experience in MySQL DB clusters maintenance, management, tuning and operation.

7. Provision MySQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations

8. Experience in working on performance issues and ensure the availability of databases

9. Monitor and maintain the Replication activities

10. Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.

11. Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary

12. Single Data Center and multi Data Center DB replication exposure in configuring, troubleshooting and failover of databases

13. Planning and implementation of data migration from staging to production cluster

14. Prepare SOPs, Documentation, and specifications

15. Experience in Scripting skills required for performing and automating DB activities

16. Perform change documentation, review and execution

17. Basic understanding of GitHub, DevOps tools, ServiceNow

18. Perform problem management for permanent resolution of issues and incident reduction

19. Follow and adhere to the ITSM processes

20. Should be willing to work on 24X7 operation model and provide on-call support on Weekends and off-hours in case of business need
