ETL developer 2. Job Summary :Technical Lead B Sc M Sc BE MCA.Drive and lead the team for management of one or more application portfolios WITH the objective of timely restoration of services and fulfillment of business requests thereby meeting service level commitments 3. Shift : 9 am – 6 pm PST 4. Roles & Responsibilities : Skill family:Data management & technical skill ETL Teradata 7 to 10 years of development experience. Develop and design jobs and workflows to unload/load data into Teradata RDBMS using utilities like FASTLOAD MLOAD BTEQ FASTXPORT TPUMP TPT (Teradata Parallel Transporter) Informatica and Teradata SQL Assistant. Solid experience in Teradata stored procedures macros and functions Very strong in writing SQL code reviews and performance tuning techniques. Experience in ETL using Teradata Utilities in a Windows/Unix/Linux environment. Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux scripting and understanding shell scripts. Proficient in writing complex SQLs expertise in performance tuning of SQLs Exposure to performance tuning within a Teradata environment. Knowledge of BI Data Warehousing and Teradata architecture is a plus. Understanding of data analytics principles and reporting tools would be an advantage. Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies Prepare Test Strategy Test Plan Detailed Test Cases Test Scripts by decoding business Requirements and developing Test Scenarios to support quality deliverable. Plan and coordinate testing activities thoroughly identifying and documenting bugs. Perform backend (database) testing and validate the source and target systems using test scripts. Complete regression and integration testing as necessary. Strong Troubleshooting and first-level debugging skills. Conduct thorough testing of ETL code changes to ensure quality of data produced. Ability to handle multiple stakeholders including management. Collaborating closely with business users and PMO to review requirements. Develop recommend and discuss technical designs that meet those requirements. Analyzing documenting and performing system configuration and setup as well as integration and system testing. Troubleshooting issues with existing systems and resolve. Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills 5.Demand requires Travel? :No 6. Certification(s) Required : No
