Team/Role: Looking for a few Hadoop/Python Developers – actual developers writing code – to come in and help fill a gap where they’ve had some attrition.  This project is taking files in, running them through Hadoop analysis to score the data for accuracy (claims data, call data, provider data), and either say yes this is accurate so it is a completed item and updates through the automated process, or no this is inaccurate so it drops off to SalesForce for manual updates made by the Operations team.  Most of the work will sit within a Hadoop environment, so the Hadoop experience and background is very important as it relates to SQOOP, Spark, HIVE, batching, etc. 

Must haves:

• Extensive Python development background (actually writing code, not just running it, monitoring it, tweaking it, etc)
• Experience building batch workloads in a Hadoop environment (on-premise or cloud)
• query structured and semi-structured (JSON/XML) data experience in a big data environment (HIVE)
• Expertise building Spark applications (Pyspark or Scala)
• moving data in/out of the Hadoop environment using SQOOP or Spark frameworks

Nice to haves:

• Healthcare experience (familiarity with claims, provider, Medicare/Medicaid)
