Responsible for the design and implementation of traditional (SQL Server, Oracle DB) databases as well as database services (CosmosDB, Azure Data Lake) and other infrastructure supporting the Company’s SaaS products. Responsible for developing and documenting database best practices, guidelines, and guardrails for all structured data, as well as working to ensure such standards are adhered to. Works closely with the development teams to guide the technology decisions and ensures that systems perform as designed within the production environment.

Top 3 Skills: 
Oracle Master Certification required 
Azure Certifications or experience required
Health Care Experience is a plus 

Significant projects to be involved in:
* Azure migration
* Oracle version upgrades
* New product development
* Data archiving, including the design and implementation of the solution
* Performance enhancements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required.
• Oracle Database Administrator Certified Master required.
• Seven years relevant experience with Oracle databases or maintaining a production environment required.
• Experience within the health insurance industry highly preferred.
• Experience with RHEL highly preferred.
• Experience with cloud IaaS (GCP, AWS, Azure) required.
• Azure experience highly preferred.
• Experience with other database systems beyond Oracle (specifically SQL Server, CosmosDB, Azure Data Lakes) highly preferred.
