Developcore versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identifiesclient purchasing requirements and technical specifications through ProductManagement and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups toassist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicateswith clients on systems application.                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

• Analyzes,designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or newproducts used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. (Codemust be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially.)

• Interactswith product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/ornecessary modifications.

• Responsible for delivery of Omni Trade clientinstallations, upgrades, and assessments.

• Design and maintain an appropriate trading and trustsolution including cash movement and settlements.

•Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determinetechnical requirements.

• Writetechnical specifications based on conceptual design and stated businessrequirements.

• Writescode, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applicationsusing current programming languages and technologies.

• Completesdocumentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

• Trainsand communicates with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Salesteams on systems application.

• May beresponsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets and schedulesand for documenting work and results.

• Maydeliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical andbusiness groups to internal and/or external audiences.

• Otherrelated duties assigned asneeded.         

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Must have a deep knowledge of Omni Trade or other trading or pricing platforms
• Cash reconciliation or Intellimatch experience a plus
• Must have a deep knowledge of DB2 and COBOL
• Cloud services experience a plus
• Must be self-directed, organized, detail-oriented, and be able to meet tight deadlines
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrates professionalism and responsiveness at all times on the job
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to work with all personality types to overcome obstacles and keep on schedule
• Advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• 7 years of combined experience working with OmniPlus and Omni Trade in a transaction processing, Trading, environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business- or IT-related discipline
• Candidates without a Bachelor’s degree will be considered if they possess an additional 4 years of directly related work experience, as described above, within the financial services and defined contribution/defined benefits industrie
• Knowledge of other FIS products and offerings
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and learn new processes and technologies quickly
• Previous experience in the Financial Services Industry, specifically as related to defined contribution and define benefits administration
