This person will work on enhancing and maintaining an instance of a Dynamics 365 ERP – Finance and Operations (F&O) . It is built on the .NET platform and is written in X++. This position does not require prior knowledge or experience developing in Dynamics 365 or any other ERP The main responsibilities will be:
- Implement features and bug fixes on a continuous basis
- Participate in engineering optimal, scalable solutions to various business needs inside the application
- Participate in daily scrums and other ceremonies as required
- Help mentor less experienced engineers on the team Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience on .NET projects
- Desire to learn developing for ERP’s
- Desire to learn developing in X++
- Good grasp of Object Oriented Programming concepts
- Good understanding of SQL normalization and query optimization
- Good working knowledge of source control software (TFS, Git or others) These are a Plus:
- Experience with CI/CD in Azure DevOps
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- Experience working with Logic Apps in Azure.
